Since July 2010, a winch for HG and GS is located at the Vielist airfield near Waren / Müritz. 2.7 km north of Waren.
The airfield is also used by the Waren Air Sports Association and is approved for: airplanes up to 5.7 tons, helicopters, motorgliders, gliders, ULs and parachutes. Model airplane pilots also use the field. An introduction to airfield operation is a prerequisite for all hang gliders and paragliders. Radios are also desired for GS and HG.
