Hill site for paragliders and hanggliders

Böhming is an excellent east wind site in the Altmühltal. However, the launch site is challenging and not for beginners, as it is relatively small and located in the aisle. The landing site is located on the other side of the Altmühl at the chapel. Attention: There are always problems with residents when pilots fly low over Regelmannsbrunn. There is a fish farm in the small village of Regelmannsbrunn. It is not allowed to fly low over the village. The terrain is very interesting for cross-country flights. A briefing is required for all pilots. For guests there is only a limited guest contingent. Info at: http://www.dfci.de/

3.
All pilots must be briefed on the special features of the launch area. A danger briefing has to take place. Emergency landing possibilities (in front of the Altmühl and on the plateau of the Alb behind the take-off area) have to be pointed out.
4. take-offs may only be carried out when the wind is blowing from the east. Crosswind takeoffs are not permitted.
5. take-offs must be made in good time to the landing area. Safe crossing of the Altmühl must be ensured.
