Hill site for paragliders and hanggliders

http://www.hesselbergflieger.info/

The Hesselberg offers the possibility for flights in southern and northern wind. On both sides the difference in altitude is about 190m.
The mountain, as well as the take-off and landing areas, can be described as suitable for beginners. Nevertheless, on the south side you should master a sovereign reverse takeoff technique.
The Hesselberg is a popular excursion destination / recreation area. Therefore, on weekends there is a large number of bus passengers, families, hikers, model pilots, children flying kites, etc... Therefore, caution is always required for all launches and landings!

Guest pilots are generally welcome. Only, as in any other flying site, some things must be observed to be able to ensure the preservation of the site permanently for all.

1. all paraglider and hang glider pilots (also guests) have to be specially instructed in the regulations and conditions of the permit, especially in the flight operation regulations Hesselberg.
2. top landings of pilots may take place on the western half of the Osterwiese, if a danger to persons and property can be excluded. Landings of paragliders are excluded in the model aircraft area.
