Volcano flying in the middle of Germany. The terrain Meerfelder Maar is already very extraordinary. One starts down into the "Maar". Take-off meadows to the south and east at the crater rim. Cross-country flights are possible from here. Reeds and water areas may not be flown over (nature reserve). Landings at the Hotel Maarblick. There is also an information board there!

The requirements of the Bernkastel-Wittlich local authority, in particular the prohibition of overflight of zone 1 of the nature reserve "Meerfelder Maar", as well as the Maar water are to be complied with and announced to the pilots.
