Hill site and towing site for paragliders and hanggliders
Active hang gliding site with UL towing possibility in the beautiful Nahe valley.
1. step towing is not allowed.
2. before the start of towing operations, all roads leading into the site must be adequately cordoned off or secured.
3. in case of UL-flight operations, the aerodrome rounds must be arranged in such a way that there is no mutual danger. The requirements of the aviation authority must be complied with.
4. conditions for slope take-off: a) disturbance of wildlife by low flights is to be avoided. This applies in particular to avifauna. During the breeding season, especially from April 1 to July 31, disturbance of avifauna must be avoided. b) The takeoff and staging areas must be kept as small as possible. Adjacent biotope structures, such as the hedge area with its animal species, must not be impaired by flight operations. c) The scope and intensity of the maintenance measures to be carried out must be agreed annually with the lower state maintenance authority by the end of August at the latest (in this case: annual mowing of the take-off and landing area and occasional removal of brush, e.g. removal of broom).
Currently, there are no Flying Initiatives.
