Hill site for paragliders and hanggliders
The launch sites on the Laber are demanding and not suitable for beginners. Therefore, the mountain is also rather little frequented. A super view from the Laber with good option for cross-country flights to the west (Tegelberg). Ascent with the Laberbahn, info about regulations and landing map at the valley station; SP north very steep, really difficult with slippery ground, SP south only for hang gliders (adventurous ramp) LP is large enough, is located north of the swimming pool at the club hut (5 minutes to the valley station); do not fly over the swimming pool and Nato building. The mountain railroad takes non-flying pilots back to the valley. Alternative sites: "Hörnle" in Oberammergau or the Garmisch flying sites "Wank" and "Osterfelder".
