Jägerkamp/Nagelspitz is a Hike&Fly site of the Drachenfliegerclub Bayrischzell.
From the large landing area in Neuhaus (Schliersee) there is about 750 hm ascent (about 4km) to the launch site.
Launch site about 150 meters altitude below the Jägerkamp peak north of the Jägerbauernalm.
Start fee (day ticket € 5,-) to be paid with Paypal (QR code on signs at the start and landing site and club homepage; if necessary also at the Jägerbauernalm).
Take-off site is located in the alpine pasture area; pilots must therefore be absolutely considerate of grazing animals.
During the ascent, the gate to the pasture area must be well closed!
There is also a sign with the cell phone number of the dairymaid, which pilots should note down.
If the pasture fence is damaged during take-off, this must be reported immediately to the dairymaid of the Jägerbauernalm, otherwise the animals will escape.
With the Hike&Fly trend in recent years, the pressure on the flying area has increased more and more. In order to preserve the flying area, it is therefore imperative that some rules are followed:
- no bivouacking at the launch site, no leaving trash behind
- no ground handling at the landing area
- leave the landing area by the shortest route, especially when the grass is high, do not bunch up in the high grass
- land as far away as possible from grazing cows
- The Brunnhof parking lot is reserved for inn guests, fliers please do not park there.
- no larger or guided groups
- when driving up to the hiking trail via the Spitzingstraße, do not use the forest road by car under any circumstances, but park on the Spitzingstraße.
