Challenging forest airstrip with over 150 m altitude difference.
Instruction for guest pilots required.
Take off only with downwind - pay attention to the lee effect of the trees.
In stronger winds, the lee of the opposite slope is clearly noticeable halfway up the slope.
Landing site is located in the Wiedtal valley - note lee effect here as well.
Airspace restriction: maximum flight altitude 1,300 m MSL (1000 m above takeoff). Above this level, the controlled airspace of Cologne-Bonn Airport begins (as of 2020).
