Hill site for paragliders and hanggliders

The take-off site is located in a bird protection area.
The conditions must be observed.
The landing area used is "Schäfersfeld-Bruhansenhof".

1. Access to the take-off site is normally on foot via the high-level path. Appropriate markings at the fork in the path should ensure that pilots stay on the high path and take the slightly downhill path on the right.
2. In the area west of the Schäfersfeld - Ibacher Holzplatz - Fuchsfelsen line (Höhenweg), a minimum flying height of 300 m must be observed (no low-flying area).
3. Take-offs may take place between 2 hours after sunrise and 1 hour before sunset.
4. The airfield owner must designate a take-off manager during weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays (and the corresponding bridges) to coordinate the flight operations. In particular, the take-off manager must ensure that no hang-glider or paraglider take-offs are carried out in uncertain flying conditions (e.g. downwind, strong turbulence). His instructions must be followed. The Flight Operations Regulations (FBO), Section II - Direction of Takeoff, must be followed.
