Andelsbuch is probably the best known area of the Vorarlberg in flying circles. The often laminar slope upwind and the resulting soaring conditions have become widely known in flying circles. Especially in the spring months, however, the thermal conditions of the slope edge are not to be scoffed at. The chairlift takes you to the take-off sites. From the top station there is a small climb to the huge meadow take-off area behind the mountain restaurant. The landing area is conveniently located directly behind the parking lot at the valley station. For kites, there is a large landing meadow next to the main road.
