The most famous flying field in the region. If the conditions are good, you have to fight for a take-off spot. Flights are normally regulated by a take-off director. Tandem pilots have priority over all free pilots. Hang gliders can take off on a ramp. As is customary in France, you should not take off until you are completely hooked in. Afterwards, an unforgettable flight awaits every pilot over Lake Annecy. Whoever can gain altitude, fumbles his way north to the narrowest part of the lake. With sufficient altitude, it is possible to cross the lake and find a thermal connection on the west side again. Those who have not succeeded in making a distance flight are content with a nice flight to the landing area and simply enjoy the mountain scenery.

If you want to fly to the Col de la Forclaz, you can either take the shuttle bus from the landing area in Doussard or use your legs from the second turn after the pass. In about 10 minutes, the sport aviator is on the take-off site. For hang gliders, the challenge is too great. Instead, they (and all others, of course) can buy an access card at the vTalloires town hall for a protection fee of 10€, which is rechargeable and does not expire. Each trip is then charged with 2,50€.
