Popular training ground for various flying schools. There is barely 500 meters of difference in altitude between the starting point and the bottom of the valley. Enough to fly the rest of the way to the top of the Arbiskopf by hang glider or umbrella. To do this, you only need to have an active beard, usually to the right of the starting point. If the beard is active, you can quickly gain altitude and let yourself be carried by the beard. If the beard is not active, you don't have to make any great detours to get to the Hippach landing zone.
