In the center of Mayrhofen the Penkenbahn starts. With the new faster Penkenbahn(since Dec 2015) it takes only 10min to the top station. From the top station of the Penkenbahn it goes then further up with the Kombibahn Penken (2 minutes walk from Penkenbahn top station). Directly below/next to the top station of the Kombibahn is the first of 2 launch sites. From there, the landing sites Sidan, Bruggertube and Edenlehen are easily accessible. At the landing site Bruggerstube, please note the power line that runs through the middle of the valley. At the start itself there is a hill in the direction of the runway which should be flown around on the left, because the distance of at least 50m to the runway should be kept after the start, also when flying over the cable car! At Penken there is a second launch site at the . From the top station of the combined lift, walk on trail no. 23 in the direction of Penkenjoch (approx. 10 minutes on foot). The launch site is opposite the Knorren lift. The terrain is steep and requires a certain routine.
