The Hohe Salve grass cone offers excellent flying conditions. From the beginning of the year there are thermal lifts. You can reach the top of the Hohe Salve by taking the Söll or Hopfgarten cable car. All take-off sites are located in the summit area. Please use only the new official landing area! It is located about 500m from the lower station of Söll, about 80m west of the lowest parking lot, and is marked with a clearly visible wind vane. When landing, be aware of the nearby power line (especially in case of strong winds in the valley) and possible tractor traffic.
