The Polster is one of the most versatile flying mountains in Styria. A mountain railroad leads from Präbichl to the mountain. From east to south and west to north, the mountain has takeoff sites in almost every direction that invite both soaring and thermal flights. The narrow but sufficiently long landing area next to the main road is easily recognizable. Only when taking off in a northerly direction is it necessary to fly around or over the cushion.
