Wonderful flying area at the western end of the Wolfgangsee. From St. Gilgen the cable car takes you up to the Zwölfehorn. Climbing up from the mountain station you reach the north launch site. Another launch site to the east is reached by a short descent to the northeast. The mountain is well arranged and is also used for training. The view over the Wolfgangsee is fantastic. The landing site in St. Gilgen is somewhat hidden above the main road. The meadow is large but slightly sloping.
